Maniacal Mondays: Who Said It?

If you know anything about star-crossed lovers then you know yesterday’s quote was from Romeo and Juliet. I remember reading this play in high school and thinking it was BO-ring! Of course, I was only a freshman so what do you expect, right? That was definitely not the case when we read Julius Caesar though. I had this English teacher who took to acting out the assassination for us, taking the time to show us how Caesar got mobbed on and stabbed. This dude was so totally nuts for old Billy  that he made the trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland every single year like it was the Holy Land.

Anyways, take a gander at this quote and let me know who you think it is!

If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — forever.”
